Welcome to Our Biblical Counseling Page

We understand at Fort Avenue, that many members have different needs and concerns, whether personally or in their relationships.  Different members will be involved in these areas as they ask to be used, using the gifts and wisdom God has granted them.  If you are an individual or couple who is struggling, we here at Fort Avenue want to help equip you with the advice, wisdom and scriptures to help you succeed.  Jesus said in John 10:10:

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Or in some other translations, to have life to the full.  Jesus desired to free people from the chains that hold them back from really living, growing and maturing.  But some individuals do not know how, and we know that it’s best to surround yourself with others who do things well, in which you know you need to grow in.  By being with these individuals, you will grow and get better over time as you implement the advice and wisdom being provided.  The areas below are the ones that Fort Avenue Church of Christ is providing or will be providing in the very near future.

  • Financial – Providing help and advice to figure out an individuals/couples financial hurdles
  • Marital (Coming Soon) – Providing advice and coaching for a couples marital hurdles and challenges
  • Pre-Marital (Coming Soon) – Providing advice and coaching for a couple looking to get married and prepare for the changes this stage of life brings
  • Parenting (Coming Soon) – Providing advice and coaching for raising children from any age and background

Keeping in mind that we will continue to grow and expand these areas, hoping to have individuals who are even trained in things like chemical addiction recovery among other things in the future.  We will soon provide not only information about these areas more specifically later, but we will provide contact information as well.  In the meantime, please use the “Contact Us” tab to find out more information.
